Virago has revealed striking new covers for a series of Margaret Atwood collector’s editions ahead of the release of her latest book The Testaments (Chatto & Windus).
The reissues, out on 22nd August, will also mark 40 years since Atwood's novel Surfacing became one of the first Virago Modern Classics in 1979.
Cat’s Eye, The Robber Bride, Alias Grace and The Blind Assassin will all be released in paperback priced at £9.99 “in stunning new designs with flaps and foil”, designed by David Pearson.
Virago chair Lennie Goodings said: “Margaret Atwood is a Virago Classic herself.”
The Testaments, Atwood’s sequel to The Handmaid’s Tale will be published on 10th September.
She will mark publication with an appearance at Waterstones Piccadilly, a live global cinema event in September and six-date tour around UK and Ireland in October and November.
