Sam Voulters has been announced as the brand, marketing and communications director at Gemini Books, the newly-formed group headed by Marcus Leaver.
Voulters will manage brand, marketing and publicity teams across the adult and children’s businesses, reporting to Leaver. He joins Gemini after 11 years at Penguin Press where he was brand director at Penguin Classics and managed marketing campaigns for non-fiction titles including Greta Thunberg’s The Climate Book (Allen Lane) and Paul McCartney’s The Lyrics (Allen Lane).
Voulters said: “For a decade at Penguin Press, I have had the privilege of working with wonderful authors and colleagues, building brands and driving bestseller success. Gemini has great ambition and I am thrilled to be working with Marcus and the outstanding team here to help grow the business at this exciting time.”
Leaver added: “Sam has a wealth of experience that will be hugely valuable to Gemini as we establish ourselves globally.”
