Audiobook firm W F Howes has teamed up with publisher Head of Zeus on the audio launch for Lọlá Ákínmádé Åkerström’s debut novel In Every Mirror She’s Black.
The novel follows three Black women from different backgrounds as they search for escape and a fresh start in Stockholm, Sweden, only to encounter familiar obstacles and problems.
The Jamaican-born theatre and screen actress Sara Powell, known for her roles in "Little Blue Boy", and "Death in Paradise" will co-narrate the audiobook with Rosemarie Akwafo, the budding West End actress who recently starred in "The Play That Goes Wrong".
