Rachel Walker has joined the campaigns team at Sandstone Press as Megan Willis takes on the role of editorial assistant for the indie.
Walker will be the new marketing assistant, reporting to campaigns manager Ceris Jones. She has previously worked at Hachette, Penguin Random House and Waterstones.
She said: "I’m so excited to start working at Sandstone Press, and to be part of the team which puts such brilliant books into the hands of readers."
Willis joins the indie from Epoch Press, and will report to assistant publisher Kay Farrell. "After a wonderful experience interning for Sandstone Press this summer, I am thrilled to be joining the team and look forward to continuing work on Sandstone's upcoming projects," she said.
Commenting on the growth of her team, Jones said: "Rachel Walker joining the team will allow us to be more ambitious with our campaigns. I look forward to getting our books out to a wider readership."
Farrell added: "We are delighted to welcome Megan Willis to our editorial department. She brings a fresh perspective and considerable talent."
