Waterstones' Annett joins MILD Group

Peter Annett, events co-ordinator and lead fiction bookseller at Waterstones Richmond, is to join the MILD Group as events manager for Live Lit.

Live Lit is the year-round events programme that includes the Dulwich and Balham Literary Festivals, Festival America, and in-store events at Dulwich Books.

MILD c.e.o. Susie Nicklin said: “I am delighted that Peter, with his in-depth knowledge of bookselling and event management, has agreed to run Live Lit. It has been a busy year with the launch of Festival America, our two annual festivals in Dulwich and Balham, and individual events at Dulwich Books and venues across south London. We looking forward to his joining the team and to the 2019 programme.”

Annett said: “I’ve been impressed with the events run by Live Lit for some time and am delighted to be joining such an exciting, creative and innovative team.”

Annett will report directly to Nicklin in his new role.

The MILD Group comprises a portfolio of businesses including Indigo Press, The Marsh Agency, and Dulwich Books.
