Waterstones' Steven Cooper joins Hodder

Steven Cooper, previously a member of the events team at Waterstones head office, has joined Hodder as publicity manager, initially to cover publicity director Veronique Norton’s parental leave. 

Cooper was with Waterstones’ events team for eight years and was named one of The Bookseller’s Rising Stars in 2018. 

Eleni Lawrence, Hodder’s communications director, said: “Steven is a brilliant communicator and has an infectious passion for books and a determination to get them into the hands of readers right across the country."
