Waterstones will be opening three new bookshops in October, across England, Northern Ireland and Scotland. The book retailer said that stores are aiming to welcome customers in time for October half-term.
The new shops will be located in the high street of Harborne, an area of south-west Birmingham, as well as the Rushmere shopping centre in Craigavon, and the Gyle shopping centre in Edinburgh.
Waterstones has continued its investment in new bookshops, announcing that will be opening three new stores in the beginning of August 2023 after opening 13 locations last year.
A Waterstones store in Blackburn opened inside a shopping centre in the summer, replacing a W H Smith store that used to be located there. In June, another shop had opened in Petersfield, which the retailer said had been "highly anticipated by local readers and the community".
