Hannah Weatherill, currently literary and book-to-screen agent at Northbank Talent Management, has been appointed head of media at Penguin Random House (PRH), covering the role for the duration of Jenna Brown’s maternity leave.
In the role, Weatherill will work across the UK adult and children’s publishing groups and focus on finding the best possible partners to develop selected PRH authors’ work for film, TV or stage adaptations.
She joins PRH on 23rd January and will work alongside Anna On, lead lawyer for film, TV and stage and Keltie Mechalski, senior rights executive. She reports to Chantal Noel, group rights director.
At Northbank Talent Management, where Weatherill has held the dual role of primary literary agent (fiction and children’s) and book-to-screen agent for all Northbank authors and selected authors on behalf of other literary agencies.
She has secured drama and documentary options for books across all genres with producers and studios across the UK, US and Australia.
