Welbeck has announced Zoe Caulfield is being promoted to its international business development director in a string of appointments aiming to create the "best team in publishing".
The firm said Caulfield had overseen considerable success in her current sales director role. She will now sell and market its Orange Hippo gift line, plus “take advantage of the multitude of sales opportunities in non-traditional channels internationally”.
Welbeck has also appointed Hardie Grant’s international sales director, Margaux Durigon, as its new international rights director. She will be charged with spearheading the company’s forieng language growth.
Russell Porter, formerly Carlton’s design director becomes product development director to help accelerate Welbeck’s gift, custom, packaging and B2B sales strategy.
Mozidur Rahman from Quarto joins the Welbeck legal and contracts function in the newly created role of head of contracts and licensing.
All four will report to group commercial director Dean Chance, who said: “At Welbeck, we are committed to developing the best team in publishing, by retaining and attracting the finest talent in the industry. These changes are not only a big leap towards fulfilling the ambition of building that world class team, but also a meaningful step closer in realising our wider ambition of becoming the UK’s leading independent publisher.
