Welbeck's former head of children's PR and marketing Keating launches freelance consultancy

Lorraine Keating, former head of children’s PR and Marketing at Welbeck, has launched freelance consultancy company, LK PR & Communications.

Keating has over 20 years experience as a publicist predominantly in children’s publishing having worked at Scholastic and Macmillan Children’s Books. She has managed the PR for major launches and brand authors such as Liz Pichon, Emily Gravett and Dara ’O’Briain. Keating also worked at Abrams & Chronicle where she was responsible for managing the communications for their non-fiction, children’s and gift list.

At Welbeck, Keating led the PR for "breakout" middle-grade novel Hedgewitch by Skye McKenna and the debut picture book Mazy the Movie Star from actor Isla Fisher.
