Weldon Owen Children’s Books has partnered with Bounce Sales & Marketing to open up new channels and opportunities in the UK market for the illustrated non-fiction children’s list.
The publisher is an imprint of Insight Editions, based in the US. It was sold by Bonnier Books to Insight in 2018.
Publisher Sue Grabham said: “I’m delighted that our beautiful and innovative books will be sold by the passionate team at Bounce Sales & Marketing. We are excited to relaunch the Weldon Owen Children’s List with Bounce’s outstanding experience and get our books into the hands of as many booksellers, librarians, teachers, parents and, of course, children as possible.”
Weldon Owen Children’s Books relaunches this autumn with eight titles for children aged three to 12. A further 20 titles are planned for 2023. The relaunch includes The Extraordinary Book That Makes You Feel Happy, Escape the Medieval Castle, Mind Mappers: How Do We Stop Climate Change?, Jungle Animals—A Spotters Guide, My First Dinosaur Atlas and three titles in The Magnificent Book series.
