Non-fiction children's books publisher What On Earth Books has launched a digital book collection service, available through subscription.
The collection will be available for individual and institutional subscriptions through the Exact Editions platform, which includes an advanced search function to allow users to easily locate specific references to animals, countries, or historical figures within individual titles, or across the complete collection.
What On Earth was founded in 2010 and produces illustrated books to educate children. It has formed publishing partnerships with numerous world-renowned institutions including the Natural History Museum and the Smithsonian.
Christopher Lloyd, founder and c.e.o., said: “We’re really impressed with how well each illustrated title appears on the platform. It’s exciting to be able to offer the collection to institutions worldwide.”
Daryl Rayner, m.d. of Exact Editions, added: “Teachers and children alike will enjoy the visually attractive and factual content found in this collection, making it an excellent resource for schools."
