The Quarto Group’s new imprint White Lion Publishing has unveiled its logo and launch list for September.
Announced at the beginning of the year, White Lion Publishing consolidates all publishing from Aurum Press, Frances Lincoln and Quintessence under one single entity. It will publish across several core non-fiction categories including travel, food and drink, wellness, lifestyle, visual arts, heritage, sport, gift, gardening, outdoors, smart thinking and London. Quarto made several appointments to the new imprint in February with 22 staff working across it in total.
The key launch titles include The Lady in the Cellar: Murder, Scandal and Insanity in Victorian Bloomsbury by Sinclair McKay, Baladi: Recipes from Palestine – a culinary journey from the land to the sea by Joudie Kalla, The Classic FM Music Box by Sam Jackson and Tim Lihoreau as well as 10 Years of Unpublished Letters to the Daily Telegraph edited by Iain Hollingshead and Kate Moore. Nine titles have been revealed for the launch list altogether for September this year.
White Lion Publishing’s mission is “to help readers understand and enjoy the world around them through expert writing, visually striking content and innovative, contemporary formats”, according to a spokesperson.
The black and white logo was also revealed at London Book Fair.
