Williams made Frances Lincoln Children's publisher

Quarto Publishing has appointed Rachel Williams as publisher of Frances Lincoln Children’s Books, with immediate effect.

David Inman, m.d. at Quarto, said: “I am delighted that Rachel is assuming the role of Children’s publisher. The Quarto Group is committed to growing ourchildren’s publishing worldwide and Frances Lincoln Children’s Books with its renowned list of authors and illustrators provides a firm foundation to build on.”

Williams, who was a Bookseller Rising Star in 2013, will also continue to run Wide Eyed Editions, Quarto’s children’s non-fiction imprint.

She previously worked at Five Mile Press and Templar, and was named as a Bookseller Rising Star in 2013

Williams replaces current publisher Sue Tarsky, who is setting up her own imprint, Words & Pictures as part of Quarto’s International co-editions group.
