Women's fiction trio to launch Choc Lit's Ruby

Choc Lit is launching a women’s fiction imprint, Ruby Fiction, and has inked its first three deals, for: The Best Boomerville Hotel by Caroline James; an as-yet-untitled “heartwarming story” by Carol Thomas; and an untitled historical début from Angela Barton.

Lyn Vernham, Choc Lit m.d., said: “With Choc Lit’s requirement for romance at [a story’s] heart, we lose some good books and authors along the way.

"Ruby intends to capture those.”
