Bonnier Books UK has appointed Nick Wright from PRH as its new chief information officer following the departure of Justin King.
Wright will be responsible for overseeing the company’s IT and business operations divisions and developing and leading on IT strategy.
It comes following the exit of King, who is leaving the business after three years and relocating to Sweden.
Wright was at PRH for 10 years, most recently as IT operational services director and was responsible for the delivery of all IT services to the UK and EMEIA group. He has also worked for Fujitsu and IBM.
He said: “I’m thrilled to join Bonnier Books UK at such an exciting time, when IT will be key to delivering on the company’s high aspirations and growth targets. I can’t wait to get stuck into this fresh challenge, with the support of my new colleagues.”
C.o.o. Jonathan Perdoni said: “I’m delighted to welcome Nick to the business at a pivotal stage in our development. The role of c.i.o. is critical for us as we transform our business technology and author care offering. With his depth of expertise and strong project management skills, Nick will help us to take the business from strength to strength.”
