Annabelle Wright has been promoted to campaigns manager at ed public relations while Megan Denholm has joined the company as publicity assistant.
Formerly publicity executive, Wright has now been promoted with immediate effect. She has spent two years with the south London-based agency, which focuses on publishing and lifestyle PR, after previously working at Michael O’Mara.
Emma Draude, founder and m.d. of ed PR, told The Bookseller: “I am absolutely delighted to promote Annabelle to campaigns manager. She is an integral player in our talented, passionate and hard-working team and has been instrumental in helping deliver campaigns of true excellence and flair.”
Wright said: “It’s been fantastic learning from some of the best publicists in the business at ed public relations. I’ve had the honour of working alongside the team on incredible books by Angie Thomas, Dorothy Koomson, Stacey Dooley, Milly Johnson, Amanda Prowse and Jason Reynolds and I’m really looking forward to developing my skills further and to continuing to grow my role within the company.”
Meanwhile Denholm has joined the team as publicity assistant. She is a UCL English graduate with an NCTJ diploma in journalism.
She said: “I’m so excited to join the incredible team at ED Public Relations and help them continue to provide outstanding publicity and support to our wide range of authors and publishers.”
Shona Abhyankar joined the company last year as associate director after working as a publicity lead at Amazon Publishing UK and Kindle Direct Publishing UK.
