Yellow Kite has pre-empted journalist Erin Zammett Ruddy's The Little Book of Life Skills, billed as "an expert guide to getting your life in order".
Holly Whitaker, assistant editor at Yellow Kite and Hodder Lifestyle, pre-empted UK and Commonwealth rights from Inkwell Management. The book will be published as a £14.99 hardback, audiobook and e-book on 17th September 2020.
The Little Book of Life Skills comprises tips from leading experts in every field, according to the publisher, and is described as "the ultimate guide on how to solve the trickiest tasks in your day and make life easier, leaving you with the gift of time".
To create the book, Ruddy spoke with experts including Arianna Huffington, Gretchen Rubin, Rachael Ray and Dr Oz, and condensed their wisdom into "easy to follow steps for all of life’s simple and not-so-simple tasks".
Whitaker said: "I had been seeking a book on efficient routines and ingenious life-hacks for some time so was thrilled when Erin’s proposal came my way. As we start to transition back to normality in the autumn, The Little Book of Life Skills will help readers to mentally declutter and live a calm, organised and inspired life. I’m very proud to be publishing it."
Ruddy said: "I wrote this book because I need this book. My days were too chaotic, my mind too frazzled, my routine not quite existent. I have learned so much from speaking with the experts and I’m delighted to be sharing this life-enhancing knowledge with readers."
