Zaffre lands two more from Mann

 Zaffre has acquired two more novels from Shirley Mann for its Memory Lane saga list. 

Senior editor Claire Johnson-Creek acquired world English language rights from Kate Barker at The Kate Barker Literary Agency. The first title in the new deal, Hannah's War, will be published in e-book in 2021 and in paperback in 2022. 

Johnson-Creek said: “I am thrilled to have signed another two-book contract with Shirley Mann. Lily’s War has been so well received and I can’t wait to see what readers think of Bobby’s War when it publishes this month. Shirley has done a brilliant job of shining a spotlight on these incredible women and the work they did for us during the Second World War and tells such heartwarming stories. She is an asset to our Memory Lane saga list and community.”  

Mann commented: "I’m so delighted to be doing more Second World War saga novels for Bonnier Books UK. Mann's Lily's War was published by Zaffre in January 2020. The sequel, Bobby's War, will be published in e-book today (29th October 2020) and in paperback in March 2021.
