Senior commissioning editor Zoe Berville has decided not to return to Transworld at the end of her parental leave this summer.
Berville and her family will be relocating to Yorkshire. She spent two years on the Bantam Non-Fiction team after previously working at HQ. It has not yet been confirmed if Berville’s role will be replaced.
During her time at Transworld, Berville “spearheaded the publishing of agenda-setting books” such as Nell Frizzell’s Holding the Baby, Jennie Agg’s Life, Almost and Gina Martin’s No Offence, But. She also acquired Alive Vinten’s The Real Happy Valley and Zandra Rhodes’ Iconic, due to be published in July 2024.
