Vlogger Zoe Sugg, aka Zoella, has revealed she is working on the third book in the Girl Online series, published by Penguin Random House Children’s.

In the video, Sugg said: “I am currently writing Girl Online number three…. I have Amy [Alward] as my editor again which I am so happy about because I love Amy so much. She’s amazing and teaches me so much. I’m excited I get to start this process again.”
PRH Children’s acquired the world rights to the new novel from Gleam Futures, which manages Sugg.
Francesca Dow, Penguin Random House UK Children’s managing director, said: “Zoe has charmed and inspired teen readers around the world with her heart-warming Girl Online series. Her success has proven her ability to connect with teenagers and her instinct for understanding their concerns. Her readers have been clamouring for this third story and we are just as excited as they are that Zoe has started writing the next book and is continuing Penny’s journey.”
According to Nielsen BookScan data compiled by The Bookseller, sales of Sugg’s first two books (Girl Online and Girl Online: On Tour) have reached £5.6m in the UK.
Sugg is also this summer launching a book club with WH Smith.
