Abrams lands second picture book series from Hale and Pham
Abrams Books for Young Readers, which is distributed in the UK and Europe by Abrams & Chronicle Books, will publish a new picture book series from author Shannon Hale and illustrator LeUyen Pham.
Emma Ledbetter, editorial director of picture books, acquired world English rights from Jodi Reamer at Writers House representing Hale and Holly McGhee at Pippin Properties representing Pham.
The first of three books will be Itty-Bitty Kitty-Corn, which will celebrate themes of friendship, believing in yourself, embracing your identity and seeing others for who they truly are.
Pham and Hale have previously worked together on the six book Princess in Black series (Walker Books).
Itty-Bitty Kitty-Corn will be published in March 2021.
