HarperCollins will publish a new collection of 30 themed short stories from Cecelia Ahern.
Lynne Drew, publishing director for HarperFiction, bought UK and Commonwealth rights (including Canada) to Roar from Marianne Gunn O’Connor.
It will be published in autumn 2018.
Roar sold in the US to Grand Central Publishing in a two-book deal conducted by Theresa Park at Park Literary & Media.
TV and film rights are represented by Howie Sanders at Anonymous Content.
The “surprising, honest and poignant” 30 stories focus on different facets of life as a modern woman, and “showcase the originality of Ahern’s talent and the versatility” of her voice.
