Amazon Original Stories signs festive novel from 'master of romantic comedy' Colgan

Amazon Original Stories, an imprint of Amazon Publishing, has signed a festive comedy romance from Jenny Colgan. 

World English language rights were acquired by senior editor Victoria Haslam from Jo Unwin at the Jo Unwin Literary Agency. The Christmas Book Hunt will be published on 1st October 2024 in e-book and audio. 

Following Mirren, who is on the hunt for a treasured book from her aunt’s childhood, and Theo, who is looking for the book his great-grandfather wrote, The Christmas Book Hunt is a "festive romance to look forward to", said Haslam. "Jenny consistently enchants readers with her charming and witty love stories, and we know that both her existing fans and new readers will delight in reading this.” 

Colgan commented: "It was so much fun to write a new Christmas romance for Amazon; I absolutely love the team there, and the shorter length is perfect to curl up with on a winter’s day.”
