Quadrille has acquired Vegetables, a new cookbook by "Godfather of Italian cooking", Antonio Carluccio OBE.
Publishing director Sarah Lavelle signed world rights from Pat White at Rogers, Coleridge & White.
Carluccio, most famous for his restaurant franchise, presents 120 recipes using his favourite vegetables, ranging from leaves and roots to tomatoes, aubergines, peppers, squashes, pulses and grains. Many are combined with meat and fish to highlight the versatility of veg, "in true Italian style".
Lavelle said: "Antonio is a genuine legend of the food world. He is a household name and rightly so: his new dishes represent the very best of Italian vegetable cookery from a true expert."
Carluccio said: "The book is all about following the Italian tradition and putting vegetables at the very heart of the meal. Treated gently, vegetables will reward you with health and happiness."
Vegetables will publish on 20th October 2016, with signed copies available exclusively in Carluccio's restaurants from the beginning of October.
