Head of Zeus imprint Aria has acquired four new titles by Heather Burnside, including a spin-off from the author's Working Girls series and three standalone gangland thrillers.
Aria has published four titles in the Working Girls series so far, with the fifth, Sapphire, to be published in January 2022. The spin-off, Candice, will be published in e-book and audio in August 2022, with paperback to follow in October 2022.
Hannah Todd, commissioning editor, acquired world English rights from Jo Bell at Bell Lomax Moreton. She said: "There was no doubt about our wish to publish the next exciting novels from Heather Burnside. Not only are her books extensively researched, compelling and told with so much heart, but Heather herself is a total star to work with. I know there will a lot of very happy and excited fans at the prospect of a further Working Girls spin-off and some standalone thrillers too! Our sights are set high for the Heather Burnside brand and you can expect to be seeing far more of this author in the future!"
