Octopus imprint Aster is publishing a “focus journal” of writing and thought exercises to help readers achieve "a calmer and more productive start to the day”.
Octopus has world rights to publish Five Minutes in the Morning on 28th December, £10 in paperback.
It promises to guide the reader through simple writing and thought exercises, interspersed with "inspiring" illustrations and "thought-provoking" proverbs, as "the perfect way to kick start any morning". It also offers a space to "encourage reflection and intention setting".
Octopus consultant publisher Kate Adams, head of Aster, said: “Journals are a growing genre within the self improvement area and as people feel time poor right now we wanted to offer some great self help exercises in a bite size format. All it takes is five minutes in the morning.”
