Aster has secured Persiana Everyday, the follow-up to the bestselling cookbook Persiana (Octopus), from Sabrina Ghayour.
Publisher Stephanie Jackson acquired world all language rights from Martine Carter at Sauce Management. Persiana Everyday will be published in August 2022.
It will be a new collection of more than 100 recipes for everyday eating. “Designed to ensure maximum flavour with the greatest of ease”, the cookbook will showcase a myriad of recipes and methods from no-cook, quick-cook, quick-prep and one-pot dishes.
Ghayour, a chef, food writer and cookery teacher, is one of the strongests voices in Middle Eastern food. Her previous books Sirocco, Feasts, Bazaar and Simply, all published by Octopus, were all Sunday Times bestsellers while her debut Persiana won Best New Cookbook at the Observer Food Monthly awards 2014.
