Audible acquires two books from debut romance author Slade

Audible will release two standalone romance titles from debut author and former radio advertising executive Leeanne Slade. 

Imogen Papworth acquired world rights from Rowan Lawton at The Soho Agency. Slade’s first title, The Rebound, will be released as an Audible Original title globally in March 2023, with her second title, Told You So, following later in the year.

The Rebound will be narrated by Claudia Jessie, best known for playing Eloise Bridgerton in Netflix’s "Bridgerton" series. It follows the story of Kitty Harris, whose comfortable routine is thrown off course when she receives an unwanted marriage proposal.

Aurelie De Troyer, senior vice-president of International English content at Audible, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Leeanne on The Rebound and Told You So. Listeners will fall in love with Leeanne’s fresh, funny characters and who better to bring Kitty’s adventure to life than a star of the biggest romance show of the moment, Claudia Jessie?”
