Audible launches ‘major’ production of Rokia’s Disorder in first time English translation with star line-up

Audible is launching a “major” new English-language multi-cast production of Rokia’s Disorder, originally published in Italian as Sindrome in 2023.

Audible signed English-language rights from Viviana Vuscovich at Mauri Spagnol for release on Audible on 7th November 2024. The book has been translated into English for the first time by Beth Hickling-Moore. 

The dark romance and fairytale-esque novel follows the lives of Olivia, Sia, Derek and Edgar. The characters will be voiced by actor Diane Guerrero, whose credits include “Orange is the New Black” and “Encanto”, “Heartstopper”’s William Gao, Freya Allan, known for her role in the “Witcher” and “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” and “Sex Education”’s Connor Swindells. 

The four protagonists are brought together by an unorthodox doctor and must face a series of demanding challenges designed to make them confront their demons. “But as they process their pain and reopen familiar, old wounds, can friendship and love prevail and guide them through?”
