Avon Books to publish two more thrillers by Katerina Diamond

Avon Books will publish two more standalone thrillers from Sunday Times bestseller Katerina Diamond. Avon first launched Diamond in 2016 with The Teacher. 

Senior commissioning editor Rachel Faulkner-Willocks acquired world English rights from Northbank Talent Management. 

The first book in the deal will be published in June 2020, titled The Heatwave. The Heatwave is about Felicity: a girl who is forced to return home to face the truth about a predator who stalks her seaside town. 

Diamond said: “I am really excited to be taking this new direction with Avon. I’ve absolutely loved writing Miles & Grey but I’m looking forward to introducing my readers to something new with The Heatwave. I’ve loved seeing how the team have really gotten behind this standalone and their passion and enthusiasm has really shown me that I’ve found the right home for my publishing.”
