Avon has snared two more thrillers from Kindle bestseller Claire Allan.
Publishing director Helen Huthwaite acquired world English language rights to the untitled thrillers from Ger Nichol at The Book Bureau.
A former journalist and writer of eight books, Allan’s first Avon release, Her Name Was Rose, was published in June 2018 with new novel The Liar’s Daughter out in the summer.
She said: "I'm over the moon to continue working with all at Avon for two more books—and in particular, to have the chance to continue working with two brilliant editors in Helen Huthwaite and Phoebe Morgan. Over the past two years all at Avon have worked so hard to help build my career and with a new publishing strategy, which sees The Liar's Daughter released in trade paperback in Ireland, I am confident my career will continue to move in the right direction. I'd like to thank all at Avon and HarperCollins Ireland for their continued faith in me as a writer."
Huthwaite added: "Claire’s writing goes from strength to strength and I couldn’t be prouder to have two more novels from her. Her Name Was Rose continues to ride high in the charts 18 months post-publication, a fact that speaks for itself, and her Northern Irish-set crime always takes readers right into the heart of a community. Clever, compelling, emotional suspense has become her calling card and I can’t wait for us to publish her next book."
