Avon has inked the deal for two more novels from crime author Katerina Diamond.
The HarperCollins imprint’s commissioning editor Phoebe Morgan acquired world English language rights from Diane Banks of Diane Banks Associates Literary and Talent Agency, with the deal taking the author's publishing cycle to 2020.
Diamond said following the deal she “couldn't ask for a more supportive publisher”.
Banks said: “We are delighted to have signed a fifth and sixth book by Katerina Diamond with Avon. Katerina’s sales go from strength to strength, in no small part due to Avon’s brilliant vision.”
Avon published Diamond’s debut, The Teacher, in March 2016, before signing up another two titles last year. In total, she has sold 131,538 books making £545,919, with The Teacher shifting 67,683 copies, according to Nielsen BookScan.
