Avon has bagged two more domestic thriller novels from e-book bestseller Amanda Robson.
Tilda McDonald, senior commissioning editor, acquired world all language rights from Ger Nichol at The Book Bureau. Both books will be published in e-book, audio and paperback.
The books will come after Robson's new title My Darling, released this week (24th August) in e-book with a paperback to follow in September. The novel takes a look at two couples who live next door to one another and the lengths one of them will go to when she suspects her husband of sleeping with her beautiful neighbour.
McDonald said: “Amanda has a talent for exposing the underbelly of all kinds of relationships, and building the tension in every book to an almost unbearable crescendo. Avon are proud to continue our partnership and can’t wait to publish Amanda’s next book.”
After graduating, Amanda Robson worked in medical research at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, and at the Poisons Unit at Guy’s Hospital, where she became a co-author of a book on cyanide poisoning. She attended the Faber novel-writing course and is now a full-time author.
She said: “I am so thrilled to be continuing to work with my wonderful editor, Tilda McDonald, and the supportive team at Avon. I’m excited to be working together on our new projects.”
