Maze, the digital-first imprint of Avon, HarperCollins, has acquired a "'Love Actually'-style interlinked romance novel" by debut author Tracy Corbett, as part of its programme to launch fresh talent.
Editor Eloise Wood acquired world all language rights for The Forget-Me-Not Flower Shop and a further novel, from Tina Betts at Andrew Mann.
Wood said "The Forget-Me-Not Flower Shop is women’s fiction with a difference, as its central romantic storyline is interwoven with other stories. It combines romance and emotional depth, but what makes this novel special is the way it looks at relationships from a variety of perspectives – singles meeting, married couples on the rocks, cheating spouses, young love, divorce, newlyweds. The characters feel so real and Tracy is a talent to watch. We are delighted to welcome her to the Maze list."
Maze will publish The Forget-Me-Not Flower Shop in July 2017.
