Blink signs book about Daniel Morgan's 1987 murder

Blink Publishing, part of Bonnier Publishing, has signed a deal to release a book about the murder of Daniel Morgan in 1987.

Untold: Exposing the Truth Behind the Daniel Morgan Murder, due for release in May 2017, will tell the story of Morgan, a private investigator who was murdered with an axe to the head in a pub car park in London 30 years ago. It will be written by the team behind the podcast "Untold: The Daniel Morgan Murder" - journalist Peter Jukes and Daniel's brother Alistair Morgan.

Alastair Morgan said: “This is a very ugly story. But for the help of a few magnificent people, I would have broken under the weight of it. From where I am now, it’s a privilege to be able to write about a slice of history that the British establishment really doesn’t want you to know about.”

The podcast has already received 4 million downloads and reached number one in the podcast chart.

Kelly Ellis at Blink Publishing acquired the UK and Commonwealth rights from Annabel Merullo at PFD.
