Bloodhound Books has bought a horror novel by actress and author Susannah Wise. Rachel Tyrer, senior commissioning editor at Bloodhound Books, negotiated a deal with Laura Macdougall at United Agents for world English Language rights. The currently untitled book—Wise’s third novel—is set to be published in October 2025.
The indie publisher, which recently rebranded for its 10th anniversary, said: "The deal marks an exciting new chapter in Wise’s literary career, promising to bring her unique voice and storytelling prowess to a wider audience with a thrilling new horror novel... Wise is set to captivate readers with her horror novel that delves into complex themes and intriguing plots."
Wise said: "I’m extremely happy to be working with Bloodhound, and full of gratitude to them for believing in my third novel, and in me as an author. I’m so looking forward to working with Rachel, Betsy and the team over the next year to bring this book to market."
