Bloomsbury has snapped up the "first and definitive book on esports" by by Paul ‘Redeye’ Chaloner.
Matthew Lowing, commissioning editor at Bloomsbury Sport, acquired world English language rights from Nick Walters of David Luxton Associates. Publication of This is Esports (and How to Spell It) in May 2020 will be supported by a significant publicity and marketing campaign. Bloomsbury Sport will publish the book on the 28th May 2020 in trade paperback at £12.99
Over 500 million people worldwide watch esports—a type of competitive gaming—a figure that has more than doubled in the past five years, said Bloomsbury Sport.
