Bluebird’s LBF results in Happy Ending

Pan Macmillan imprint Bluebird has acquired a “hilariously honest journey” through relationships by writing couple Anna Whitehouse and Matt Farquharson.

Publisher Carole Tonkinson bought world rights for Where’s My Happy Ending? from Abigail Bergstrom at Gleam Titles.

The book, to be released in February 2020, sees the pair travel the world to ask enduring questions about love and find out if relationships are simpler than we think. Bluebird said the “belly-laugh-inducing study” would do for relationships what the writers’ previous book, Parenting the Sh*t Out of Life, did for child-rearing.

Tonkinson said of journalists Whitehouse and Farquharson: “Their proposal had us laughing out loud and their frank and hilarious take on relationship dilemmas is a brilliant read for anyone in or out of a relationship. Not since I published He’s Just Not That Into You have I read such a fresh, funny take on love.”
