Bolinda scoops audio for joyously anarchic Viking adventures from Simon
Bolinda audio has scooped Two Terrible Vikings series by Horrid Henry creator Francesca Simon which will be narrated by actor Adrian Edmondson.
Senior rights and content executive Nicki Powell acquired world English language rights to the audiobook from Hannah Styles at Faber. The first two audiobooks in the series, Two Terrible Vikings and Two Terrible Vikings and Grunt the Berserker, were released on 1st May and the third title is slated for release in February 2023.
The series is set in the snowy fjords of a Viking kingdom following the misadventures of twins Hack and Whack.
Of the casting, Simon commented: "I am thrilled that Adrian Edmondson is narrating Two Terrible Vikings. He has such a wonderfully anarchic sense of humour, and I know he will bring the books to riotous life. I am of course especially looking forward to hearing his Berserker voice."
Edmondson added: "I have had great fun narrating the Two Terrible Vikings series with Bolinda audio – their efficient team made the recording run incredibly smoothly and Francesca Simon’s tales of Hack and Whack are a delight. I hope that young listeners and parents alike enjoy the audiobooks."
