I B Tauris has acquired a book on the new wave of Islamic terrorism by radicalisation expert Peter R Neuman.
The publisher bought world English language rights to Radicalized: The New Generation of Jihadis and the Threat to the West from German publisher Ullstein.
The book will "shed new light on the true extent of the threat ISIS poses to the West", the publisher said.
Senior editor Joanna Godfrey said: "This is an essential book for understanding the background to the attacks in Paris in 2015 and explains why so many young people from the West have been drawn to the conflict in the Middle East. Although there have been a number of books on ISIS recently, none have looked explicitly at what the events in Syria and Iraq mean for the UK, Europe and North America, specifically the heightened threat of terrorism."
Neumann is director of the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation based at King's College London.
The book will be translated from German by Alex Starritt.
Radicalized: The New Generation of Jihadis and the Threat to the West will publish in paperback in September 2016 priced at £11.99.
