Bookouture to publish Fforde in US

Bookouture is to publish three new Katie Fforde books in the US.

Associate publisher Kirsty Greenwood acquired US e-book rights for three titles, Summer of Love, A Summer at Sea and Recipe for Love from Bill Hamilton at AM Heath.

Greenwood said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be working with Katie Fforde. As a long-time fan of her writing, it’s truly an honour to be involved in bringing such wonderful, witty and thoroughly charming books to a wider US audience.”

Fforde said: “I am very excited to have Bookouture to bring my books to the American market. I hope to pick up lots of new readers and reach a whole new market.”

Hamilton said: “I’m delighted that Katie is joining the exciting and dynamic Bookouture for her US rights, putting her at the cutting edge of the digital publishing revolution.”

The three titles in the deal will be published over Summer 2016.
