Bookouture has signed its 22nd book with author K L Slater.
Associate publisher Lydia Vassar-Smith bought world English-language rights from Camilla Bolton at Darley Anderson Agency and Associates. The book, which is yet to be given a title, will be published in e-book and print in 2026.
Vassar-Smith said: “It is so exciting to be entering our ninth year of publishing K L Slater with our 22nd book! We’ve hit so many milestones together, including three number one monster sellers, and nobody can write a book about a dysfunctional relationship quite like K L Slater.”
Slater added: “I’m so delighted to sign for my 22nd title with Bookouture and to continue our incredible publishing journey together. The enthusiasm and support of my editor Lydia Vassar-Smith is second-to-none and I’m so looking forward to crafting more twisty thrillers for my amazing loyal readers!”
