Bookouture has announced the acquisition of three new books by Willow Rose, alongside four re-contracts from its authors K L Slater, Patricia Gibney, Daniel Hurst and Nicole Trope.
Associate publisher Jennifer Hunt acquired world all language, audio, film and TV rights directly from Rose in three books in a new crime thriller series featuring Detective Billie Ann Wilde. Willow Rose has sold over seven million copies of her self-published bestsellers according to the publisher.
World English language rights to two new psychological thrillers by K L Slater were acquired by associate publisher Lydia Vassar-Smith from Camilla Bolton at the Darley Anderson Literary Agency. Vassar-Smith also acquired world English language rights to three new thrillers in Gibney’s Lottie Parker series from Ger Nichol at The Book Bureau.
Publishing director Natasha Harding acquired world all language, audio, film and TV rights in two psychological thrillers direct from Daniel Hurst, with one of these titles to be a sequel to his bestseller, The Doctor’s Wife, and associate publisher Ellen Gleeson acquired world all language, audio, film and TV rights in three psychological thrillers direct from Nicole Trope. According to the publisher, Trope’s The Family Across the Street has now sold over 300,000 copies.
