Canelo captures three crime thrillers by Luther

Canelo has captured three crime thrillers by Max Luther.

Commissioning editor Kit Nevile acquired world English language rights from Kate Barker Literary Agency.

Nowhere to Hide is the first book in the Alex Drayce series and will be published in October 2023 in e-book and mass market paperback, with a second book to follow in March 2024, and a third in August 2024.

Nevile said: “Max has such an assured and confident voice for a début author, and the frenetic energy of Nowhere to Hide is balanced every step of the way by his excellent characterisation and pacing.”

Luther added: “My sole aim with Nowhere to Hide was to tell the most exciting story I possibly could. I can’t wait to hear what readers think of it.”

Barker said: “Max gives this gripping thriller an authentic feel that few authors can match. I know Canelo will publish his books brilliantly.”
