Century has pre-empted the first book from entrepreneur and social media personality Simon Squibb, titled What’s Your Dream?
Callum Crute, commissioning editor, and Zennor Compton, editorial director, acquired world rights from Adam Gauntlett at PFD for publication in January 2025.
In What’s Your Dream? Squibb coaches readers to "identify their own meaningful goals, empower them to remove the barriers that stand in the way, and ultimately offer the tools and wisdom to build a richer, more purpose-driven life". He also shares lessons from his years in business and his experience living homeless to becoming a multimillionaire.
After selling his business in a multi-million-pound deal, Squibb is now known best for his social media account where he posts videos interviewing members of the public, asking them what their dream is and investing in them on the spot to help them realise the dream. He is also the founder of HelpBnk, a free business help platform.
Squibb commented: "It’s been a dream of mine for a long time to publish a book which educates and inspires the next generation, and I couldn’t think of a better partner than Century and Penguin Random House for this project."
Crute added: "From the first moment I watched Simon’s videos, I knew I had to publish him at Century. Simon works tirelessly to make dreams a reality, and it’s my own dream come true to be sharing this message with an even bigger audience across the world in his debut book."
