Nigella Lawson is publishing a new cookery book, At My Table: A Celebration of Home Cooking, with Chatto & Windus in hardback on 21st September 2017.
The new cookbook, priced £26, will continue Lawson's "celebration of home cooking", including over 100 new recipes she has shared with friends and family at her table.
It is said to be "abundant with recipes that are warming, comforting, and inspirational", with named dishes including Chicken Fricassee; Sticky Toffee Pudding; Aubergine Fattet; White Miso Hummus; Garlicky Roast Potatoes with Oregano and Feta; Hake with Bacon, Peas and Cider to Apple Pork Chops with Sauerkraut Slaw; Rump Steaks with Anchovy Cream Sauce to a Chicken and Pea Traybake; plus vegetable dishes, such as Eastern Mediterranean Chopped Salad, and Carrots and Fennel with Harissa.
Desserts include Victoria Sponge with Cardamom, Marmalade and Crème Fraiche; Emergency Brownies; White Chocolate Cheesecake; and a version of Queen of Puddings.
The recipes will be accompanied by anecdotes, stories and advice from Lawson. The "sumptuously produced" book is designed throughout by Caz Hildebrand and Harry Bingham at Here and with food photography by Jonathan Lovekin.
Lawson has written 10 cookery books including the classics How to Eat and How To Be A Domestic Goddess. She said: "This book, like all the books I’ve written and all the cookery books I’ve read, is not just a manual, but a collection of stories and a container of memories."
