Choc Lit falls for two contemporary romances from Ellie Henderson

Choc Lit has signed two contemporary romances from Ellie Henderson.

Becky Slorach, head of Choc Lit, acquired world rights directly from the author. A Christmas Wish on Arran, the first book in the deal, will be published in autumn 2024. The second will follow in spring 2025.

A Christmas Wish on Arran continues Henderson’s Isle of Arran set romances. The story follows Beth who returns to the island after 25 years away as a reporter. As she involves herself back into island life, Beth runs into Callum, the man who broke her heart the day she left.

Slorach said: "Ellie writes gorgeous romances that pull at the heart strings and I can’t wait to see what love stories will be flourishing in Arran next. I am delighted to be starting with a Christmas romance in 2024."

Henderson added: "Being part of Choc Lit has been a privilege and I am lucky to work with such a brilliant team at Joffe Books. I am very much looking forward to working with Becky on these next two books."
