Choc Lit, an imprint of Joffe Books, has scooped a "charming" romance from Charlotte Barnes entitled A Walk in the Park.
Project editor Jasmine Callaghan acquired world English rights from Andrew James at Frog Literary Agency. The book will be published in paperback and e-book later in 2024.
Callaghan said: "The very first page of A Walk in the Park swept me away and I fell in love with the fantastic cast of characters, who are just bursting with personality and humour. Charlotte excels at welcoming you in her warm and wonderful world full of charm, hope and authenticity. I couldn’t be happier to welcome her to the Choc Lit list."
Barnes added: "I’m delighted to be joining the Joffe/Choc Lit family. They’re a publisher that champions brilliant authors and their work, and I feel humbled to now be among those names. It’s a really exciting time and, more than anything, I just can’t wait to see Choc Lit bring A Walk in the Park to life for readers."
