Cline's Ready Player Two to publish in November

Century, an imprint of Penguin Random House UK, will publish Ernest Cline's Ready Player Two on 24th November 2020. 

Century acquired UK and Commonwealth rights (excluding Canada) from Caspian Dennis at Abner Stein in the UK, on behalf of Yfat Gendell at Foundry Media in the US.

Publication in international territories is yet to be announced, but numbers are expected by the publisher to exceed the first book, Ready Player One (Arrow, 2012), which was published in 58 countries and 37 languages. 

Ready Player Two is the sequel to Ready Player One, which is set in a near-furture dystopia where people escape the chaos of the real world for an expansive virtual universe where they can create their own reality. 

Ready Player One was adapted into a Warner Brothers film, directed by Steven Spielberg, with the screenplay co-written by Cline.
